These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EcomAiBridge website, plugins, middleware, licence keys, and related services (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

EcomAiBridge (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides AI-connectivity middleware and plugins for e-commerce platforms including WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop, and custom stores. You can contact us at support@ecomaibridge.com.

2. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to register for the Service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and licence keys confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

3. Free and PRO plans

EcomAiBridge is offered in two tiers:

Free: a no-cost plan covering the open-core functionality. Usage limits, feature availability, and fair-use restrictions are published on our website and may change over time.

PRO: a paid plan unlocking premium features, higher limits, and priority support. PRO is billed as described on the upgrade page. Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency and may exclude taxes, which are added based on your billing location.

We may change pricing, features, or plan tiers with reasonable notice. For already-paid subscription periods, the terms in force at the time of purchase continue to apply until renewal.

4. Licence to use the software

Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the EcomAiBridge plugins and middleware on stores you own or are authorised to administer, limited to the domains covered by your licence key. You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us.
  • Share a single licence key across unauthorised domains or clients.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter copyright, licence, or attribution notices.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to defeat the licence or PRO activation mechanism, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

The open-source components of EcomAiBridge are additionally governed by their respective open-source licences, which take precedence for those components only.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or third-party right.
  • Transmit malware, spam, or abusive content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ data.
  • Overload our infrastructure (e.g. abusive automated requests, DDoS).
  • Use the Service to build a directly competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, with or without notice.

6. Your store and your customers’ data

You remain the sole controller of data from your own store — products, orders, customers, etc. EcomAiBridge serves that data to the AI platforms you explicitly connect. You are responsible for ensuring that such connections comply with your own privacy policy, your customers’ rights, and applicable laws (including GDPR where relevant). See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle information we collect directly.

7. Billing, renewals & taxes

  • PRO subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal.
  • You can cancel renewals at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
  • Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. VAT, GST) unless stated otherwise. Taxes are added based on your billing information.
  • Failed payments may result in the licence reverting to the Free tier until payment is resolved.

8. Refund policy

Short version: 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time PRO purchases. No refunds on renewals, partial periods, or where the licence has been clearly abused.

8.1 14-day money-back guarantee

Before upgrading, we strongly recommend running the Free plan on your store for a few days to see how the AI behaves with your real catalog and shopper queries. The Free plan is unlimited in time and gives you a clear sense of the experience PRO will build on.

If you are not satisfied with your first PRO purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the original payment date. To request a refund, email support@ecomaibridge.com from the address associated with your account, referencing your order or licence key, and describe the reason. We may ask a few questions so we can improve the product.

8.2 What is refundable

  • First-time PRO purchases, within 14 days.
  • Duplicate charges or proven billing errors.
  • Situations where we are unable, within a reasonable time, to resolve a critical bug that prevents the PRO plugin from functioning on a supported platform and environment.

8.3 What is not refundable

  • Automatic subscription renewals. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the charge.
  • Partial months, unused days, or "change of mind" after the 14-day window.
  • Licences cancelled or downgraded mid-period — service simply continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Licences used on multiple unauthorised domains, or shared/resold in violation of Section 4.
  • Issues caused by third-party plugins, custom themes, outdated platform versions, or server misconfiguration on your side, where we have offered a reasonable workaround or documentation.
  • Dissatisfaction with the AI's conversational behaviour, response wording, or product suggestions where the plugin is functioning correctly and you have configured the relevant PRO settings (Knowledge Base, persona, FAQs, etc.). These behaviours are described in the Pre-Purchase Acknowledgment you confirmed before purchasing and represent how the product works by design.
  • Free plan usage (nothing to refund).
  • Chargebacks filed without first contacting our support team. Please email us first — we'll almost always resolve the issue. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in account termination.

8.4 How refunds are processed

  • Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to the payment provider's processing time.
  • Once a refund is issued, the PRO licence is revoked and the account reverts to the Free tier.
  • Refunds are processed in the original currency of purchase; FX fluctuations are not our responsibility.

8.5 Statutory rights

Nothing in this refund policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country (for example, EU distance-selling rules). Where such statutory rights apply, they override any more restrictive wording above.

9. Support & updates

  • Free plan: best-effort community support and access to public documentation.
  • PRO plan: email support with priority response times during active subscription.
  • We aim to release regular updates, bug fixes, and compatibility patches, but do not guarantee a specific release schedule.

10. Third-party services & AI platforms

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, payment processors, hosting providers). Those platforms have their own terms and pricing, which you are responsible for reviewing and complying with. We are not liable for outages, changes, or policy decisions of third-party providers.

11. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including trademarks, logos, source code (other than open-source components under their own licences), documentation, and website content — remain with EcomAiBridge or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited licence in Section 4.

12. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI integration will produce any specific commercial result.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EcomAiBridge and its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold EcomAiBridge harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party right.

15. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and other users. You may stop using the Service at any time; cancellation of a paid plan is handled from your account dashboard.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or on this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EcomAiBridge is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
